Interreg Project

The general objective of the Interreg BlueSkilling Innovation project is to improve the skills of workers in the shipbuilding industry and maritime technology (offshore) in the Atlantic region, in order to boost industrial competitiveness, sustainability and blue innovation.

Among its main objectives is the compilation of the educational offer in the maritime sector, both at university and vocational training level, in the participating countries.

In addition, it seeks to study the specific needs of companies in the sector through their representatives and to identify gaps for the development of new courses and professional profiles. The exchange of information between training centres and the design of specific curricula with the participation of companies are also key aspects of the project to adapt training to the needs of the European maritime sector.
