    Job Shadowing
25 June 2020

Hello everyone! I’m Jon Zarraga, lecturer in the International Trade Department at Santurtzi VET, and I’m excited to share my mobility experience in Rotterdam.

Together with my colleagues Amparo and Mari Jose, we had the opportunity to embark on this trip with the purpose of getting to know the structure and functioning of vocational schools in the Netherlands.

During our stay, we visited Da Vinci College and Zadkine College, two outstanding institutions in the field of technical and vocational education. Exploring these institutions gave us a better understanding of the educational practices and teaching methodologies used in the Dutch context.

In addition, we could not miss the opportunity to visit the port of Rotterdam, the most important cargo port in Europe. This experience was fundamental to understand the importance of international trade and logistics in the global economy.

This visit was key to updating us in our profession and to improve our teaching in the higher cycle of International Trade.
